If you got this far I'm sure that you are aware of this websites existence :)

I am a IT professional aged 31 years, and live in the small market town of Stowmarket, Suffolk, UK. For years I have played around with 3D graphics and my first experience with this stuff was way way back in the early nineties when a friend of mine introduced me to Persistence of Vision (It's all your fault Miles), but I guess it really started when I purchased my first commercial 3D package Truespace 1 several years ago. 

Since then I have tinkered around with 3D modelling and am now using the following packages for my work; Truespace 5.2, and a little bit of Vue d'Esprit 4

My main hobbies are Astronomy, Reading (especially Hard Science Fiction) and listening to music.

Don't ask me where I got my alias Silent Phoenix from, because it's a long and very boring story. Although it's an unusual alias name, doing a search on Google will indicate that there are several other people out there with the same name, small world!!!!!

About This Site

This site is actually my fourth site, the others have died and gone to silicon heaven to join all the toasters. I've been putting my meagre attempts at 3D art for several years now, but I've finally decided to spend some money and get a proper domain and hosting package. 

This site included my Galleries section that features some of the work I have done in 3D over the years. The site also features a collection of articles I did on Peter F. Hamilton's Night's Dawn Trilogy a while back. More specifically these articles and pictures detail one aspect of his rich universe, that of Adamist starship design and function.
